Languages & per-user outputs

Loopion supports up to 99 transcription languages, understands mixed-language meetings, and delivers each user's outputs in the language they choose.

Set your personal language

  1. 1Go to your personal settings in Loopion.
  2. 2Choose your preferred language.
  3. 3From then on, your summaries, actions and meeting emails arrive in that language — whatever languages were spoken in the meeting.
Note: Language preferences are per person, not per meeting. Two attendees of the same meeting can receive the same content in different languages.

Meeting language settings

  • By default, Loopion detects the meeting language automatically.
  • For mixed-language meetings — where participants switch languages — Loopion processes the conversation and produces one coherent record.
  • Workspace owners can set a default output language for the workspace; personal preferences override it.

What gets localised

  • Transcript views
  • Meeting summaries
  • Actions, owners and deadlines
  • Summary emails (each recipient gets their own language)
  • Ask Loopion answers (normally in the language of your question)
Note: The canonical meeting record is never altered — translations are views on top of it. The Loopion interface itself currently remains in English.

Honest expectations

  • Results vary with audio quality, accents, overlapping speech and background noise.
  • Loopion is not a live interpreter — it processes the conversation and delivers outputs in your chosen language.
  • Some languages perform better than others; the 99-language list is on our Languages page.
