Actions, reminders & carry-forward
This is the heart of Loopion: every commitment becomes an owned, dated action that stays visible until it's done.
How actions are captured
During and after each meeting, Loopion identifies commitments from the conversation — who agreed to do what, and by when. Each action gets an owner (matched to a meeting participant) and a deadline where one was discussed.
Actions are identified and then checked in a second review pass before they're finalised — but AI isn't perfect, so you can always review, edit, add or remove actions on the meeting page.
Owners who aren't in your workspace
If someone commits to an action but isn't a Loopion user — a client, or a colleague who hasn't joined yet — the action is still captured and labelled as off-platform. Nothing is dropped just because the owner doesn't have an account.
Reminders
- Owners are reminded about their open actions by email as deadlines approach and pass.
- On plans with recap posting, outstanding actions appear in the Teams meeting chat when the next meeting starts.
- Via Zapier or webhooks you can route reminders anywhere else — Slack, your CRM, your own tools.
Carry-forward: the loop itself
When a meeting is part of a series — a weekly standup, a monthly review — anything left unfinished carries forward into the next occurrence automatically. Each carried action shows how many days it has been outstanding.
Completed actions are recorded with who completed them and when. Once everything from a meeting is closed, the loop for that meeting is complete.
Completing actions
- Mark actions done in Loopion — on the meeting page or your Action Centre.
- Complete them from connected tools: completions made via the Zapier integration sync back to Loopion.
- Completion status flows through everywhere: recaps, carry-forward, analytics and Ask Loopion.
