Invite the Loopion assistant to a meeting
The simplest way to capture any meeting: invite the assistant like a normal attendee. No calendar connection or IT approval needed.
How it works
- 1Open the meeting invite in your calendar (Outlook, Google — anything that sends email invites).
- 2Add your workspace's assistant email address as an attendee — you'll find it in Loopion under Settings.
- 3Send the update. The invitation reaches Loopion, which schedules the assistant to join.
- 4At meeting time, the assistant joins as a clearly named, visible participant.
Why teams use this
- Works even when your company's IT policy blocks calendar-app approvals.
- Anyone can do it — organisers or attendees — with zero setup.
- Great for one-off external meetings where you don't want any configuration.
- Forward an existing invite to the assistant and it takes effect the same way.
Good to know
- The meeting is routed to your workspace based on who invited the assistant.
- You can remove the assistant from any meeting by removing it from the invite — or disable it for that meeting in Loopion.
- The assistant never joins hidden. Everyone in the meeting can see it as a named participant.
- Recording-consent rules still apply — let participants know the meeting is captured. See our Recording Consent policy.
