Using Loopion with Zoom
Loopion joins Zoom meetings as a clearly named, visible participant and turns the conversation into owned, tracked actions — the same loop as Teams.
Joining a Zoom meeting
- 1Make sure the meeting has a Zoom joining link and is recognised — via your connected calendar or by inviting the assistant.
- 2The assistant joins shortly before the start as a named participant, visible in the participant list.
- 3If the waiting room is on, admit the assistant like any other guest.
Host settings that matter
- Waiting room: the assistant waits until admitted — if nobody admits it, the meeting can't be captured.
- 'Only authenticated users can join' with restrictive settings can block guest participants, including the assistant.
- If a meeting requires registration, invite the assistant explicitly so it receives a valid join route.
After the meeting
- Summary and actions arrive by email and in your Loopion workspace, exactly as with Teams.
- Outstanding actions carry into your next relevant meeting with a days-outstanding counter.
- Ask Loopion covers your Zoom meetings the same as any other meeting you attended.
Good to know
- The assistant is always visible — it never joins hidden.
- Speaker attribution uses participant names, meeting signals and timing. No voiceprints are created.
- As with any platform, audio quality drives transcript quality — headsets beat laptop mics.
