Using Loopion with Microsoft Teams

Teams is where Loopion's accountability loop is most visible: the assistant joins your meeting, and the next meeting opens with a recap of outstanding actions in the meeting chat.

Joining a Teams meeting

  1. 1Make sure the meeting is recognised — either through your connected calendar or by inviting the assistant to the meeting.
  2. 2A few minutes before the start, the assistant joins the meeting as a clearly named participant.
  3. 3It stays in the meeting capturing the conversation — participants can see it in the roster the whole time.
Note: If the meeting lobby holds the assistant, admit it like any other guest. It will wait in the lobby until admitted.

During the meeting

  • Loopion listens for decisions, actions, owners and deadlines.
  • Speaker attribution uses participant info, on-screen names, captions and timing — no voiceprints are created.
  • The assistant never speaks, shares content or interrupts.

After the meeting

  • The summary and actions arrive by email and appear in your Loopion workspace.
  • On plans with recap posting, the next meeting opens with a recap in the Teams meeting chat — new actions, completed actions and what's still outstanding.
  • In recurring meetings, outstanding actions come back at the next occurrence with a days-outstanding counter.

Tips for the best results

  • Encourage people to state owners and dates out loud — 'Sarah will send the plan by Friday' beats 'someone should send that'.
  • Good microphones and low background noise noticeably improve transcript quality.
  • You can review and correct actions on the meeting page after every call.
