Connect your Outlook or Google Calendar
One connection, zero per-meeting setup. Once your calendar is linked, Loopion recognises eligible meetings and joins them automatically.
Connect Outlook Calendar
- 1In Loopion, go to Settings → Calendar.
- 2Choose Microsoft Outlook and sign in with your work account.
- 3Approve the calendar permission when prompted.
- 4Your upcoming meetings appear in Loopion's calendar view within a few minutes.
Note: If your organisation's IT policy blocks the approval screen ('Need admin approval'), you don't have to wait for IT — you can still capture any meeting by inviting the assistant directly. See 'Invite the assistant' below.
Connect Google Calendar
- 1Go to Settings → Calendar.
- 2Choose Google Calendar and sign in with your Google Workspace account.
- 3Approve the requested permission.
Note: A Google Calendar connection is for scheduling awareness. Meeting capture currently supports Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings — including Teams/Zoom meetings that appear in a Google calendar.
Which meetings does Loopion join?
- Meetings with a Microsoft Teams or Zoom joining link.
- Meetings where you're the organiser, or where the Loopion assistant has been invited.
- You can turn the assistant off for any individual meeting from the meeting page.
Managing the connection
- You can disconnect your calendar at any time from the same settings page.
- Disconnecting stops new meetings from being recognised — it doesn't delete your existing meeting records.
- Calendar data is used to schedule the assistant, not for anything else. See our Privacy Policy for details.
